The White Horse Inn, Stogumber, Somerset

The White Horse is currently open daily from 5 p.m. for drinks only

the white horse stogumber
The White Horse Inn is a traditional village freehouse in the picturesque and historical village of Stogumber.

Lying towards the western end of the Valley of Taunton Deane, the pub is within easy access of both The Quantock Hills and Exmoor.

It is only a few miles from Watchet Marina and from Minehead, which is the start of the beautiful coastal route passing through such places as Porlock, Countisbury, Lynton, Lynmouth, and Lorna Doone Country before heading on along the North Devon Coast all the way down through Cornwall: truly spectacular scenery all the way.

john-home-page (20K)Owner John Trebilcock was born and grew up a few miles from this Grade II listed building.

John has now returned to West Somerset having had 10 happy years building up The Mill Inn at Bish Mill, a tiny hamlet pub on a very busy tourist route into north Devon.

He has used this experience to tastefully redecorate and refurbish The White Horse, and is proud to have around him a team who provide excellent food, beer and accommodation.
